Please vote for your favorite submission by sending a note; subject “vote”. You will only be able to vote once so please make your decision carefully.

Votes will be open to club members only unless advised otherwise.

The deadline to have your vote in will be October 19th.
If all club members have submitted their choice before the voting deadline we will close the contest early and announce the winning deviation.

Remember this is our first contest so please forgive any flaws you might find and don’t hesitate to add your suggestions to the way the contest has been established! HOLY-DARKNESS is about art work that is dark in mood or has an overall melancholy and mysterious feeling, as well as macabre or horror styled art.

How to Join:
Send a note subject "Join" if you want to become a member and if you have true darkness you're in. If you aren't into creating the darker side of art, but find an innate curiosity in the strange or macabre you are welcome to join as well.

Once you're in:
Please post the icon to your journal and add us to your Dev. Watch. so that you can conveniently see, and not miss a chance to comment, on fellow members’ work.

Posting:
Send a note subject "submit art" containing a link with the chosen work you wish posted in the gallery and a small discretion if you would like to include one. Please do not send more then three links per day. We will try to have the deviations posted as soon as possible, but please remember that our founders (as well as myself) have lives , so we won’t always be able to post right away. We apologize in advance.

Wondering what type of art we are looking for?

HOLY-DARKNESS is looking for art that is beautiful, yet disturbing. Realistic or fantasy that features the oddities of the human imagination. Manifestations that the mind creates when looking into the unknown. May it be demon, angel, vampire, or the devil him (or her) self. We all have an idea in our own mind as to what lays behind the shadows of time...behind the door to the closet or under the bed... That feeling of the mysterious that is created when light is absent...
Search deep into the darkest crevasses of your mind and see what images and creatures your imagination possesses.

This may be shown in any medium or form allowed on DA, this will include, but is not limited to, Photography, Digital Art, Traditional, Paint, Poetry, or Literature
